Shanghai (ZXZC)- The patent images of the Geely Binyue PHEV were unveiled recently. The new model is the first SUV based on Geely's self-developed BMA (B-segment Modular Architecture). The model strongly resembles the Binrui in exterior. Powered by the same 1.5T hybrid system as the Borui GE, the model is expected to hit the market at the end of 2019.

Adopting Geely's iconic design language, The Binyue PHEV features more dynamic bodylines than its existing model and will be equipped with ternary lithium battery pack.

The Geely Binyue measures 4,330mm in length, 1,800mm in width and 1,609mm in height, and sets on a wheelbase of 2,600mm. It boasts a curb weight of 1,923kg. The Binyue adopts an all-new ripple-shaped intake grille matches with clean-cut headlights, sharp C-shaped fog lights and X-shaped front bumper, looking sportier and more masculine.

The new model will adopt the same 1.5T hybrid system as the Borui GE, mated with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It boasts a maximum power output of 130kW, a peak torque of 255Nm and a highest speed of 210km/h. In addition, like the Borui GE, the Binrui will offer MHEV and PHEV variants in the future.
