In November last year, DreamSmart officially announced its entry into the automotive market with a commitment to creating a "DreamCar" specifically for Meizu smartphone fans. The company's first vehicle, the "MEIZU DreamCar MX," will be based on the SEA platform and Geely's Industry 4.0 manufacturing capabilities.

DreamSmart also offers consumers unprecedented influence and involvement in the vehicle's design, allowing users to co-create personalized details such as exterior wraps, interior color schemes, and Flyme Auto themes. Additionally, purchasers of the Meizu 21 smartphone will be able to offset their car purchase using the full value of their phone.

In May, an official Meizu-affiliated website briefly displayed information on several new vehicles, including the "Meizu MX," equipped with the Flyme Auto in-car operating system. However, all of the planned vehicle details have since been removed from the site.

Moreover, in an interview in July, DreamSmart’s COO Liao Qinghong confirmed that STARAUTO vehicles will debut within the year, featuring unique functionalities that differ significantly from traditional automakers.
