Neta delivers 6,016 vehicles in Jan, down 23% from Dec
Neta's flagship sedan Neta S delivered 1,517 units in January, for a cumulative total of 3,722 units since deliveries began in late November.
Neta, Hozon Auto's electric vehicle (EV) brand, delivered 6,016 vehicles in January, down 45.35 percent from 11,009 units in the same month last year and down 22.82 percent from 7,795 units in December, according to data released today.
Neta's flagship sedan, the Neta S, delivered 1,517 units in January, the less expensive Neta V delivered 3,487 units and the Neta U delivered 1,012 units.
Neta's cumulative deliveries since its inception were 254,065 units at the end of January, it said.
Neta is currently targeting mainly the budget EV market, with the company's main sellers Neta V and Neta U priced around 100,000 yuan ($15,000).
On July 31, 2022, Neta officially launched its flagship sedan, the Neta S, targeting the RMB 200,000 to 300,000 market, as part of Neta's efforts to enter the premium market. Deliveries of the model began on November 30.
Neta S delivered 202 units in November and 2,003 units in December, data monitored by CnEVPost shows.

Neta U delivered 51,021 units in 2022, up 155 percent year-on-year. A total of 98,847 Neta V units were delivered for the year, up 99 percent year-on-year, according to the company's figures released last month.
On January 4, Neta raised the prices of all models on sale, with China's purchase subsidies for new energy vehicles (NEVs) dropping out at the end of 2022.
The Neta U-II, which is in the middle of Neta's product array in terms of price, saw the most price increase at RMB 6,000 ($870), with an updated price range of RMB 135,800-165,800.
The company's least expensive model, the Neta V, was up RMB 4,000, with a new price range of RMB 83,900 - 123,800.
Neta's flagship sedan, the Neta S, was up RMB 3,000, with a new price range of RMB 202,800 - 341,800.
The EV maker is building a sports car called Neta E, which will be mass-produced and delivered in the first half of 2023, Hozon Auto CEO Zhang Yong said on Weibo on December 16.
