Leapmotor delivers 8,493 units in Dec, raises vehicle prices

For the full year 2022, Leapmotor delivered 111,168 units, up 157.80 percent from 43,121 units in 2021.

Leapmotor delivered 8,493 vehicles in December, up 8.79 percent from 7,807 in the same month last year and up 5.54 percent from 8,047 in November, according to data released today.

In the fourth quarter, Leapmotor delivered 23,566 vehicles, up 37.90 percent year-on-year, but down 33.82 percent from the third quarter.

For the full year 2022, the company delivered 111,168 vehicles, up 157.80 percent from 43,121 vehicles in 2021.

Leapmotor was founded in 2015 and is currently selling the mini vehicle T03, the coupe model S01, the flagship SUV model C11, and the flagship sedan C01.

The T03 was first launched in 2020 and is currently priced below RMB 100,000 ($14,500) in China.

The Leapmotor C11 went on sale on September 29, 2021 and is currently only available as an all-electric model.

The company plans to begin deliveries of the Leapmotor C11 with extended-range technology in the first quarter, and the model has already appeared on a regulatory filing list.

The Leapmotor C01 went on sale on September 28 and currently has a starting price range of RMB 193,800 - RMB 286,800.

Leapmotor announced today that the full T03 lineup will be priced up by RMB 3,000, with a new price range of RMB 82,500 - RMB 99,500.

The Leapmotor C11 will see a price increase of RMB 6,000, with a new price range of RMB 185,800 - 235,800.

On December 30, Leapmotor announced that the C01 will not increase its price after China's subsidies for new energy vehicles (NEVs) expire.
