China Oct power battery installations: Total volume down 3.5% from Sept, CATL share at 48.33%

From January to October, the installed base of power batteries in China was 224.2 GWh, up 108.7 percent year-on-year.
The installed base of ternary batteries was 88.0 GWh, accounting for 39.2 percent of the total installed base, up 62.8 percent year-on-year, while the installed base of LFP batteries was 136.0 GWh, accounting for 60.6 percent of the total installed base, up 155.6 percent year-on-year.
CATL continued to be the largest power battery manufacturer in China with a 48.33 percent share of 14.76 GWh in October.
BYD ranked second with 7.74 GWh or 25.36 percent share, while CALB and Gotion High-tech ranked third and fourth with 6.76 percent and 4.52 percent shares respectively.
In the ternary battery market, CATL installed 6.75 GWh in October, with a 62.42 percent share. CALB ranked second with a 10.34 percent share, and Sunwoda ranked third with a 4.99 percent share.
In the LFP battery market, CATL installed 8.01 GWh in October, with a 40.73 percent share. BYD ranked second with 39.29 percent share and Gotion ranked third with 6.31 percent share.
