This means that Li Auto has delivered 26,655 vehicles so far this month, considering that it had 873,345 cumulative deliveries as of the end of July.

Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) has reached the 900,000 cumulative deliveries milestone, 56 months after the delivery of its first vehicle.

The new energy vehicle (NEV) maker announced the progress today, saying it's the first Chinese new car maker to reach the milestone.

That means Li Auto delivered 26,655 vehicles so far this month, considering its cumulative deliveries through the end of July were 873,345, CnEVPost's calculations show.

Li Auto delivered 51,000 vehicles in July, the second time it has surpassed the 50,000 mark after 50,353 in December last year.

Founded in July 2015, Li Auto is one of the major extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) players in China.

Its first model, the Li One EREV, was released in October 2018 and began deliveries in December 2019.

The Li One has now been discontinued and Li Auto currently sells mainly L-series EREVs, including the Li L6, Li L7, Li L8, and Li L9.

The company's first BEV, the Li Mega MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), went on sale on March 1, but its weak performance has made a limited contribution to sales.

Li Auto reached its 100,000th delivery milestone in November 2021 and saw its 500,000th vehicle delivery in September 2023, and on June 21, it reached its 800,000th vehicle delivery milestone.

The company had originally planned to launch three additional BEVs later this year, but after a weak performance from the Li Mega, it delayed the release of three new BEVs until the first half of 2025.

Li Auto will report unaudited financial results for the second quarter of 2024 on Wednesday, August 28, before the US markets open.
