Voyah said the new Dreamer MPV brings the dream of smart mobility into reality, making traditional MPVs a thing of the past.

Voyah, Dongfeng Motor's new energy vehicle (NEV) brand, has unveiled the updated Dreamer MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), which will feature Huawei's smart driving System.

Voyah gave the Dreamer MPV its debut in a live video stream today, saying the model will be the world's first MPV to feature Huawei's Qiankun intelligent driving system as well as the tech giant's HarmonyOS cockpit system.

“The all-new Dreamer brings the dream of smart mobility into reality, saying goodbye to traditional MPVs from now on,” Voyah said.

Voyah did not release more details about the updated Dreamer MPV, saying that the model will go on pre-sale on August 28.

Voyah launched the Dreamer MPV on May 7, 2022, in China. The 2024 Dreamer MPV went on sale on October 12 last year with a starting price of RMB 339,900 ($47,490).

The Dreamer MPV currently on sale is offered in battery electric vehicle (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variants, with the former having a CLTC range of up to 650 kilometers and the latter having a CLTC battery range of 236 kilometers.

The model measures 5,315 mm in length, 1,985 mm in width and 1,800 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 3,200 mm.

The image of the updated Dreamer MPV released by Voyah today show that it is not significantly different in appearance from the model currently on sale.

Huawei is seen as one of the most capable players in the smart driving space, and in April it released Qiankun ADS 3.0, which enables advanced smart driving features including urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot).

Qiankun ADS 3.0 was first used in the Stelato S9, an electric sedan built by Huawei in collaboration with Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC Group), which was officially launched on August 6.

On January 22 this year, Voyah announced a strategic partnership with Huawei to accelerate the large-scale commercialization of intelligent technologies.
