Shanghai (ZXZC)- SF Motors announced Jinguo (Chinese character 金菓) as its official Chinese name on July 25 in Beijing. Meanwhile, the SF 5, the first electric SUV model under this EV brand, also made its China debut. Moreover, the model's Chinese name was also revealed as Jinguo EV.

In September, Jinguo EV plant will finish the modulation and adjustment of facilities and start to carry out trial production. In the following October, Jinguo EV will commence to test its model products' reliability and endurance.

Specifically, Jinguo EV also revealed that the SF 5 can be available for experience as early as January, 2019, and can be preordered in the Chinese market from March, 2019. In the third quarter of 2019, the intelligent electric SUV model will hit the market and can be mass delivered.

Adopting a design style that resembles coupe SUV, the Jinguo EV looks very sporty thanks to the fastback design style. The new model also offers exaggeratedly-designed headlights, looking very aggressive, futuristic and unmistakable. Moreover, the large-size wheel rims further enhance the model's sportiness.

Different from the sharp-looking front end, the model's rear end features very simple and neat design with fashionable pulling-through LED tail lights.

The new model also offers a neatly-designed cabin with a range of cutting-edge amenities. With the steering wheel and center console decorated with rosy golden trims, the white and black colored interior looks very futuristic and stylish. Besides, the model also comes fitted with full-LCD and extra-large center console screens.

Thanks to SF Motors's self-developed four electric motor drive technology, the model can sprint from 0-100km/h within 3 seconds. Strikingly, the model's range can top 500 km with high-energy-density batteries.
