The interior of the Xpeng Mona M03 features a minimalist design similar to that of the Tesla Model 3, with few physical buttons visible.

Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) gave the first model of its Mona lineup, the M03, its debut earlier this month, but the interior has so far remained undisclosed. Now two spy photos have revealed the model's interior details.

The Xpeng Mona M03's interior layout resembles that of Tesla's (NASDAQ: TSLA) Model 3 sedan, featuring a minimalist design, according to spy shots circulating on social media Xiaohongshu today.

The model features a large horizontal center screen similar to the Model 3's, and doesn't appear to have any physical buttons in front of it other than the two scroll balls on the steering wheel.

It appears to have a very small screen underneath the steering wheel that will likely be used to display some core driving information, similar to that of the current Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) models.

As a comparison, all other models of the Xpeng currently on sale have two screens in the front, one located under the steering wheel and the other in the center of the front.

Xpeng gave the Mona M03 its debut on July 3 and said it will be priced under RMB 200,000 yuan ($27,560), with an official launch to be in August.

Mona's first model, named M03, is meant to honor the Tesla Model 3 sedan, He Xiaopeng, Xpeng's chairman and CEO, said at the July 3 event.

The model measures 4,780 mm in length, 1,896 mm in width and 1,445 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,815 mm, according to a June 13 regulatory filing.

Both variants in the filing catalog are single-motor models with peak motor power of 140 kW and 160 kW, respectively, from suppliers Inovance Automotive, Physis Technology.

Like Nio's Onvo L60, both variants of the Xpeng Mona M03 are powered by lithium iron phosphate batteries, with suppliers both being FinDreams Battery, the battery division of Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) giant BYD.

Earlier this month, Xpeng shared more images of the Mona M03 on its social media channels showing details of the exterior.

Xpeng delivered 10,668 vehicles in June, up 23.76 percent year-on-year and up 5.14 percent from May, according to data released on July 1.

It delivered 52,028 vehicles in the first half of the year, up 25.57 percent year-on-year. Since its inception, Xpeng's cumulative deliveries stand at 452,339 vehicles.
