Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) managed to keep deliveries above 10,000 units last month, rebounding slightly from May.

The electric vehicle (EV) maker delivered 10,668 vehicles in June, up 23.76 percent year-on-year and up 5.14 percent from May, according to data it released today.

The X9 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) delivered 1,687 units in June, bringing cumulative deliveries to 13,143 units after six months on the market, Xpeng said.

In the second quarter, Xpeng delivered 30,207 vehicles, up 30.17 percent year-on-year and up 38.43 percent from the first quarter, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

Deliveries for the quarter fell within the guidance range of between 29,000 and 32,000 vehicles provided by Xpeng on May 21.

In the first half of the year, Xpeng delivered 52,028 vehicles, up 25.57 percent year-on-year.

The company's cumulative deliveries since inception stand at 452,339 vehicles, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

Xpeng's AI-powered in-car operating system, Tianji OS, will get a major upgrade in the third quarter of this year along with its official overseas launch, it said.

Earlier today, Xpeng announced that it will give the Xpeng M03 its world debut on July 3, with a live video stream set to begin at 2 pm Beijing time that day.
