BYD has unveiled the Qin L DM-i, Seal 06 DM-i hybrid sedans at the Beijing auto show, which starts today, and they are both expected to be equipped with the company's next-generation hybrid system, which is expected to deliver ultra-low fuel consumption.

The Qin L is born from BYD's next-generation plug-in hybrid vehicle platform, which is more efficient, safer and more valuable, BYD said.
As the current model is in short supply, BYD will gradually make the switch to the fifth-generation DM model in May based on market conditions, Wang said at the time.
The Qin L measures 4,830 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,790 mm, while the Seal 06 DM-i measures 4,830 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,790 mm.

BYD didn't mention a price range for the Qin L, but it's expected to be comparable to the Seal 06 DM-i, as they are similar in size.
