Faraday Future has no desire to build plant in Guangzhou temporarily
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Faraday Future (FF) has no planning on building factory in Guangzhou. The company only has a California-based factory, which has started production, according to three staff members from Faraday Future, who came to the China EV Supervision and Management Center to make preparations for the launch of the FF91 in China.
This signifies that Faraday Future has started the procedure of introducing products into China. According to the abovementioned insiders from Faraday Future, the company also synchronized the preparations of introducing mass-produced models in China. They also exposed that the mass-produced model is slated to hit the market at the end of 2018 in the U.S., and will be imported into the Chinese market in around February, 2019.
The main purpose of the three FF insiders was to gain the examining report on the adaptation of the information transmissions of the to-be-released model's connected system to the national standards. If they obtained the examining report, the FF91 will have more possibilities to hit the Chinese market.
Faraday Future started the construction of its plant in Hanford, California on around Mar. 20. Jia Yueting further exposed the improvements about the construction of its Hanford-based factory on the afternoon of Mar. 20 (American time). What's more, a report also revealed that all long-cycle manufacturing equipment was ordered and the Hanford-based plant will install the equipment in May. The opening up of Hanford plant means that the countdown of the FF91's mass production has started.
