Neta L is currently available only in EREV variants, BEV variants will be offered in the future.

Based on the Neta's Shanhai platform, the Neta L is a five-seat mid-size SUV with a length, width and height of 4,770 mm, 1,900 mm and 1,660 mm respectively and a wheelbase of 2,810 mm.

The Neta L EREV is powered by a 1.5L four-cylinder engine as a range-extender and a battery pack with a capacity of up to 40.27 kWh, providing a CLTC battery range of up to 310 kilometers.

40.27 kWh is a big battery pack for an EREV of this size, and the entry-level version of Neta's smaller all-electric SUV, the Neta X, has a battery pack with a 51.8-kWh capacity.

The Neta L can charge from 30 percent to 80 percent in less than 19 minutes with a maximum charge multiplier of 2.6 C and the fastest charging EREV, Neta said.

At full fuel and full charge, the Neta L has a combined CLTC range of up to 1,300 kilometers.

Taking a page from Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI), Neta has equipped the Neta L with a refrigerator and two large 15.6-inch screens.

The model comes with a seat that support 8-point massage as well as one-touch switching to zero gravity.

Neta also gave a brief glimpse of the shooting brake variant of the Neta S at today's launch event, which will make its debut at the upcoming Beijing auto show.

Neta delivered 127,496 vehicles in 2023, down 16.16 percent year-on-year, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

The company has had a weak start of the year, selling 24,434 vehicles in the first quarter, down 6.65 percent from a year earlier.
