The wait times for Nio's (NYSE: NIO) ET5 sedan and ES7 SUV (sport utility vehicle) have been shortened, according to the latest information monitored by CnEVPost.
Chinese customers who order an ET5 now can expect delivery in about 4-5 weeks, down from 7-8 weeks previously.
The latest wait time for the ES7 is 6-7 weeks, down from 7-8 weeks previously.
Nio has eight 2023 models -- ES8, ES7, ES6, EC7, EC6, ET7, ET5, ET5 Touring -- of which the first five are SUVs and the last three are sedans. Deliveries of the ET9, unveiled last December, will begin in the first quarter of 2025.
On February 22, the company began accepting customer orders for seven models -- the 2024 ES8, ES7, EC7, ES6, EC6, ET5, and ET5 Touring -- at the same prices as 2023 models.
The 2024 ET7 will be released and begin allowing orders to be locked in in April, Nio said in February.
On March 8, deliveries of the 2024 ES8, EC7, ES6, EC6, and ET5 Touring began. Deliveries of the updated ET5 will begin in April and the ES7 in May, according to Nio's previous announcement.

As Nio's main brand enters a period of stabilization, the electric vehicle (EV) maker has begun to shift more of its focus to marketing the Onvo (Ledao) sub-brand.
Nio is getting ready for Onvo's marketing rhythm, as the sub-brand's executive team, instead of taking a vacation during the just-concluded Qingming Festival, or Tomb Sweeping Day, holiday, held meetings to prepare for the upcoming marketing operations, Jiemian quoted a person familiar with the matter as saying in yesterday's report.
The official launch of the Onvo brand is expected to be in early-mid May, Nio management said in a media Q&A after a March 14 launch of its long-life battery strategy.
Nio is also ramping up marketing for its 150-kWh semi-solid battery pack, as the ultra-long-rang pack will become available soon.
For eight consecutive days, from April 8-15, Nio will conduct live video livestreaming to demonstrate the 150-kWh semisolid battery's range performance on the Sichuan-Tibet route, the company announced yesterday.
The 150-kWh ultra-long-range battery pack will go live in the second quarter, Nio said on March 5 in its fourth-quarter 2023 earnings highlights posted to its Chinese-language social media accounts.
Mass-produced 150-kWh packs have already rolled off the production line, and Nio held a ceremony in Nanjing, Jiangsu province on April 3 to celebrate the occasion.
