Xiaomi says SU7 gets over 100,000 orders as deliveries begin
The SU7 has gained more than 100,000 firm orders in just a few days of its launch, with the number of locked-in orders already exceeding 40,000, Xiaomi's founder said at a ceremony marking the model's first delivery.
In addition to the factory, Xiaomi EV's first stores in 28 Chinese cities have also begun deliveries of the SU7.
The SU7 is offered in three versions -- standard, Pro, and Max -- with starting prices of RMB 215,900 ($29,840), RMB 245,900, and RMB 299,900, respectively.
Deliveries of the customized standard and Max cars will start at the end of April, and the Pro version at the end of May, the company said at the model's launch event.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi is offering a Founders Edition for the SU7, limited to 5,000 units at the same price as the standard and Max editions.
Deliveries started today for these already-produced Founders Edition vehicles, and customers can't customize the vehicle's configuration.
