Shanghai (ZXZC)- On Apr. 25, BAIC Huansu, a four-year Chinese self-owned vehicle brand, showcased two new models at Auto China 2018 and also grandly released its new brand strategy in Beijing. 

As consumption upgraded, BAIC Huansu puts forward a new-era strategy based on its own development and upgrades, insisting on intelligent new energy strategy under the concept of double-V strategy to improve its competitiveness in passenger vehicle (PV) and new energy vehicle (NEV) markets.

BAIC Huansu has strived to deploy the double-V market since it was founded four years ago. In the future, BAIC Huansu will continue to focus on the double-V market and will add new X series to expand its SUV lineup, which has S and H series already.

Specifically, the S series products target seven-seat family SUV market, covering the Huansu S3, S5 and S7. In the future, BAIC Huansu will upgrade in such areas as vehicle manipulation and intelligent connected vehicle. The X series products target medium-to-large five-seat or seven-seat SUVs with price range between RMB 100,000 and 200,000. Its current plan includes the Huansu X5, X6, X7L, X8L and X9L. BAIC Huansu's H series products target MPV market, covering the Huansu H2, H3 and H5.

Apart from traditional vehicle market, BAIC Huansu will also eye on new energy vehicle market. It has built up three new energy research centers to open a new era for NEVs. Huansu will conduct intelligent connectivity, light weight and sharing in NEV field. BAIC Huansu's current products plan has PHEV and EV models, covering A00 class, A0 class, A-class and B-class new energy passenger vehicles and logistics vehicles.

The BAIC Huansu S3X and S7L 2.0T made their debut at Auto China 2018. Positioned as a seven-seat SUV, the Huansu S3X is likely to be powered by a 1.3T turbocharged engine paired with a CVT. It looks masculine with multiple horizontal chrome trims decorated in the intake grille, mated with elegant headlights. It also boasts a spacious cabin with a variety of high-tech amenities.

The Huangsu S7L 2.0T also inherits the premium configurations as that of the Huansu S7, featuring a sleek appearance, a comfortable cabin, remarkable driving experience and abundant amenities. With a 2.0T turbocharged engine, the model will be more competitive than the S7.

Through four-year development, BAIC Huansu has launched more than 10 models and established more than 1,000 dealers nationwide. It delivered more than 900,000 vehicles cumulatively.
