Zeekr will partner with local car distributors, with deliveries of right-hand drive Zeekr vehicles in Thailand set to begin in the third quarter.

The company plans to open its first Thai store in Bangkok this year and gradually expand sales and service network in cities including Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya.

Zeekr will partner with local public EV charging service providers to offer charging experience, according to the company.

The ongoing 45th Bangkok International Motor Show will run until April 7, with March 25-26 as media days and March 27-April 7 as public days.

Apart from the Zeekr X and Zeekr 009, Zeekr is also showcasing the Zeekr 007 at the auto show, but there was no mention of a timeline for the electric sedan to become available locally.

Zeekr officially launched its efforts to enter international markets in 2023, unveiling its European strategy on April 18, the first day of the 2023 Shanghai auto show, and starting deliveries of the first European version of the Zeekr 001 in December in the Netherlands.

In Southeast Asia, Zeekr signed a partnership agreement with Premium Auto in Singapore on December 28 to enter the city country's automotive market.

Zeekr will launch the right-hand drive versions of the Zeekr 009 and Zeekr X in Singapore, with deliveries set to begin in the third quarter of 2024, the company previously said.

As of now, Zeekr's presence covers several countries and regions in Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia, with the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X available in Europe.

Zeekr sees firm orders for updated Zeekr 001 exceed 20,000 units
