Geely February sales jump 24 percent year on year


Shanghai (ZXZC)- Geely Auto handed over 110,243 vehicles in February, jumping 24 percent from a year earlier. In the first two months, Geely sold 265,332 vehicles, surging 38 percent from a year earlier and completing 17 percent of its annual sales target 1.58 million units.

Out of all models, seven models achieved sales volume of over 10,000 units. With a monthly delivery of 20,238 units, the Boyue remained the best-seller. The sales of the all-new Vision increased slightly by 5.7 percent to 14,968 units last month while the Emgrand GL’s sales jumped 25.9 percent from a year earlier to 10,105 units.

The Emgrand GS saw the largest growth rate among all main models last month. The automaker delivered 11,008 units of the Emgrand GS, up 36.6 percent on an annual basis. Last month, the sales of the Vision SUV grew 2.4 percent year on year to 10,251 units.

Two models saw sales decrease in the second month of this year. The sales of the new Emgrand fell 13.6 percent to 17,914 units while the sales of the Borui dropped 16.7 percent from a year earlier to 2,512 units. The sales of the Vision X3 and the Vision S1 were 100,87 units and 6,491 units respectively.

Last month, Geely delivered 4,012 units of the Lynk & Co 01, down 33.27 percent and 35.01 percent respectively when compared with December 2017 and January 2018.
