Tesla sells 75,805 cars in China in Dec, exports 18,334 from Shanghai plant

In the fourth quarter, Tesla sold 169,935 vehicles in China, accounting for 35 percent of its global deliveries of 484,507 vehicles.

Tesla's pattern is to produce cars for export in the first half of the quarter and for the local market in the second half, it previously said.

Of the 94,139 China-made vehicles Tesla sold in December, including exports, 62,158 were Model Y and 31,981 were Model 3, according to the CPCA.
