Shanghai (ZXZC)- It is revealed that BAIC BJEV made several personnel adjustments on Jan. 9, saying that seven senior executives will join in BAIC BJEV.  

Chen Shanghua, former vice president of the Automotive Engineering Institute of Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (GAC ENGINEERING), will take the position as the vice general manager and senior engineer at professor grade of BAIC BJEV. He once presided over the R&D for several hot vehicle models in the Chinese market and also earned a variety of prizes in auto industry.

Marcus Hafkemeyer, who comes from Germany, will serve as vice general manager of BAIC BJEV and vice president of research institute. He once worked at various foreign companies, such as Audi, BMW and LG, and led the R&D for battery, electric motor and electric control system of electric vehicles. He also helped build European R&D center for LG Chem. 

Yuan Chengyin, will be named as vice general manager, senior engineer at doctor and professor grade of BAIC BJEV, and general manager of Technological Innovation Center of BAIC BJEV. He had served as technology director and senior researcher of General Motors Global Research & Development Center and vice president of Product Engineering Institute of BAIC BJEV, etc.

Yu Liguo, former minister of strategic planning department at BAIC Group who had taken charge of BAIC's 13th five-year strategic plan, will be appointed as vice general manager and senior engineer at doctor and professor grade of BAIC BJEV.

Ralf Nicolas, who had been employed in such companies as GM, Opel and Qoros, will serve as vice president and chief quality officer of BAIC BJEV. He had led the development of Opel's quality, managed GM's suppliers and established the quality standards for Qoros models.

Chi Yingli will take the position as vice general manager and international certified senior public accountant of BAIC BJEV. She has 30-year management experience in large automotive companies and was very familiar with the financing and banking of listed companies. From 2014 till now, she once acted as minister of financial management department, assistant to general manager and vice general manager of BAIC BJEV.

Franco Bellillo, who once worked at BMW China, BMW Group, will be nominated as vice general manager of BAIC BJEV. He had helped establish parts purchasing system of electric vehicles for BMW China.
