Personnel reshuffle of Chery Jaguar Land Rover: executive vice president of IMSS changed
Shanghai (ZXZC)- News has reported on Feb. 24 that Hu Jun, vice president of marketing and service of Chery Jaguar Land Rover and executive vice president of the Integrated Marketing Sales and Service (IMSS) between Jaguar Land Rover China and Chery Jaguar Land Rover had finished his tenure. From the very date, Chen Xuefeng, vice president of Chery Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Co., Ltd. (Chery Jaguar Land Rover) would temporarily act for him in the post, and Wang Jun, vice president of customer service of IMSS would assist Chen Xuefeng.
Chery Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Co., Ltd. is a 50:50 independent joint venture formed between Chinese auto manufacturer Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. and UK auto manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover.
It is reported that Hu Jun, a senior executive accredited to IMSS by Chery, has completed his six-year tenure in IMSS. Chen Xuefeng would succeed his post temporarily and the final successor would be confirmed later.
Starting his career in auto industry in 1996, Hu Jun previously served at GM China Investment Co., Ltd. during 1997 and 2007. He worked as CEO of Lifeng Auto from 2008 to 2011. Hu Jun has been the VP of marketing and service of Chery Jaguar Land Rover since 2012. He joined Chery Jaguar Land Rover and served as vice president of marketing and service and became the executive VP of IMSS in 2015.
Chen Xuefeng joined Chery Jaguar Land Rover in January, 2013 and was named executive vice president of Chery Jaguar Land Rover's manufacturing department. From November, 2015, Chen Xuefeng served as executive vice president of Chery Jaguar Land Rover. Before he joined Chery Jaguar Land Rover, he has worked at a number of JVs, including Changan Ford and Changan Ford Mazda.
