Baojun 510 posts sales of 58,006 units in January

Shanghai (ZXZC)- According to the data from China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), deliveries of the Baojun 510 reached 58,006 units in January. With an increment of around 4,000 units, the 510 led the pack among sub-compact SUVs, after it broke the record with sales of 54,050 units in December, 2017. 

As SGWM's core model targeting young generations, the Baojun 510 was much favored by a variety of young customers even it hasn't hit the market. Within ten days after it was launched on Feb. 20, 2017, the model posted sales of more than 8,000 units. One month after it was launched, its sales exceeded more than 20,000 units. Up till the end of December, 2017, the Baojun 510 saw total sales of 363,949 units. By the end of January, 2018, the cumulative sales of the model had surpassed 420,000 units.

The Baojun 510 offers six variants, including three 1.5L variants with manual transmission and two 1.5L variants with automatic transmission. In January, the glaze red anniversary version was also released. With a stylish appearance, high-tech configurations and high cost-efficiency, the Baojun 510 are still sold well in the Chinese SUV market, whose competition becomes increasingly intensified.
