Between December 1 and December 17, Nio was 7,900, Xpeng 8,700, Li Auto 24,300, Tesla 41,700, BYD 116,100.

The Li L7 had 4,600 insurance registrations last week, the Li L8 3,400, and the Li L9 3,300, according to Li Auto.

Between December 1 and December 17, insurance registrations for Li Auto vehicles were 24,300 units. The company will challenge the 50,000 monthly sales target this month, it said.

Li Auto delivered 41,030 vehicles in November, surpassing October's previous record of 40,422 to reach a new record high.

Li Auto guided for fourth-quarter vehicle deliveries to be in the range of 125,000 to 128,000 vehicles when it reported third-quarter earnings on November 9.

Nio (NYSE: NIO) vehicles registered 3,400 insurance registrations in China last week, up 17.24 percent from 2,900 the week before.

Between December 1 and December 17, a total of 7,900 Nio vehicles were registered for insurance.

Nio delivered 15,959 vehicles in November, essentially flat from 16,074 in October.

Nio earlier this month guided for fourth-quarter vehicle deliveries in the range of 47,000 to 49,000, meaning it expects to deliver between 14,967 and 16,967 vehicles in December.

Nio will launch its executive flagship sedan, the ET9, at Nio Day 2023 on December 23, in an attempt to enter a market dominated by models including Mercedes Maybach.

Yesterday, Nio announced it had secured a new round of funding from Abu Dhabi government fund CYVN Holdings LLC, which would expand its stake in it to about 20 percent.

Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) was at 4,800 units last week, up 84.62 percent from 2,600 units in the previous week.

Between December 1 and December 17, Xpeng had 8,700 vehicle insurance registrations.

The company delivered a record 20,041 vehicles in November, marking the second consecutive month of more than 20,000 vehicles.

Xpeng guided for fourth-quarter deliveries of between 59,500 and 63,500 vehicles in its third-quarter earnings report released on November 15.

Xpeng will officially launch its first MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) model, the X9, on January 1 and deliveries will also begin in January.

Yesterday, Xpeng announced a RMB 10,000 ($1,400) discount for customers who buy the G6 within December. The company offered discounts for the P7i and G9 earlier this month.

Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) had 18,300 insurance registrations in China last week, up 18.83 percent from 15,400 the previous week.

Between December 1 and December 17, a total of 41,700 Tesla vehicles were registered for insurance in China.

Tesla sold 82,432 China-made vehicles in November, including 65,504 sold in China and 16,928 exported, according to data released earlier this month by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

Insurance registrations for BYD (OTCMKTS: BYDDY) vehicles in China totaled 51,700 last week, up 9.07 percent from 47,400 the week before.

Between December 1 and December 17, the figure stood at 116,100 units for BYD.

BYD sold 301,903 NEVs in November, up 31.02 percent year-on-year and essentially flat from October's 301,833 units, according to figures it announced on December 1.

BYD's premium brand Denza was at 2,800 units last week, up 64.71 percent from 1,700 units the week before.

Zeekr was at 2,200 units last week, up 15.79 percent from 1,900 the week before.

Leapmotor was at 4,000 units last week, up 8.11 percent from 3,700 units the week before.

Neta was at 2,600 units last week, up 23.81 percent from 2,100 units the week before.
