AIWAYS, DeepBlue sign cooperation agreement to co-develop intelligent vehicle
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Recently, AIWAYS, a China's intelligent EV startup, and DeepBlue Technology (DeepBlue), a Shanghai-based AI technology provider, officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shanghai to jointly develop the application of such technologies as AI, machine vision, deep learning and intelligent drive-by-wire. The two sides will corporately work on the upgrading solutions of intelligent vehicles, integrating AIWAYS' auto control technology system with DeepBlue's AI technologies.
Fu Qiang, the co-founder and president of AIWAYS, stated that DeepBlue is a leading AI startup in China which has technical advantages and rich industrial resources in several cutting-edge technology areas, like AI, autonomous driving and biometric identification. What's more, DeepBlue owns many independent intellectual property rights in artificial intelligence, deep learning, convolutional neural network (CNN), machine vision and autonomous driving field.
AIWAYS highly recognizes DeepBlue's product ideas and strategies. The cooperation between the two startups will be devoted to transforming AI technologies into materialized experience for new energy vehicle consumers.
Fu Qiang built the AIWAYS brand in 2017. Before that, he had worked at FAW-VW's Audi brand as sales vice general-manager and at SAIC-VW Skoda brand's marketing division as executive vice president. He had nearly 30-year experience of sales, marketing, finance and management in auto industry.
Currently, AIWAYS has formed strategic cooperation partnerships with many enterprises, like Navinfo, Wanbang NE, Bosch China and Siemens China, etc, to work on intelligent product R&D, sales and after-sales services and digital production.
