JD.com to replace all logistics vehicles with electric ones
Shanghai (ZXZC)-Richard Liu, founder and CEO of JD.com, recently forwarded an article about JD.com's recycling packaging box, and also made a promise that they will replace all existing logistics vehicles with electric ones in Beijing before the Spring Festival, making a contribution to resolve the problem of air pollution in Beijing.
After adopting new energy logistics vehicles and recycling packaging bags, JD.com now put the green recycling packaging box into usage. Named Qingliu (meaning envrionment-friendly logistics in English) Box, the green recycling box can be reused after cleaning up and sterilizing.
On Sept. 1, JD.com announced that China's first unmanned distribution vehicle all developed by JD.com has entered into the stage of road test, and is expected to be mass utilized next year after trial operation in October. The unmanned distribution vehicle will have a wide range of cutting-edge functions, such as route planning, intelligent obstacle avoidance and intelligent following, etc.
