Earlier today, Leapmotor announced promotions available for December, including up to RMB 17,000 in cash discounts, RMB 5,000 in option funds.

Chinese electric vehicle (EV) startup Leapmotor delivered a record 18,508 vehicles in November, up 130 percent year-on-year and up 1.68 percent from 18,202 in October, according to data it released today.

In the January-November period, Leapmotor delivered 125,537 vehicles, up 22.27 percent year-on-year.

At the end of November, Leapmotor had delivered 287,206 vehicles since its inception, data monitored by CnEVPost show.

Founded in 2015, Leapmotor's models on sale include the mini EV T03, coupe model S01, flagship SUV model C11, and flagship sedan C01.

The company initially offered only battery electric vehicle (BEV) models, and deliveries declined significantly in the fourth quarter of last year, dropping further to 1,139 units by January of this year.

In an effort to reverse the sales decline, Leapmotor unveiled plans last year to release extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) models to target the larger market for plug-in hybrids.

On March 1, Leapmotor launched the C11 EREV, and on September 20, the company released the C01 EREV.

Along with the EREVs, Leapmotor has also been promoting sales growth through promotional tactics.

On November 1, Leapmotor offered November-only discounts of up to RMB 10,000 ($1,400) on its lowest-priced T03, lowering the starting price from RMB 59,900 to RMB 49,900.

On November 2, the company began offering benefits including loan interest subsidies and option subsidies for all models, available for November only.

Earlier today, Leapmotor announced promotions available for December, including up to RMB 17,000 in cash discounts, RMB 5,000 in option funds, and up to RMB 8,000 in loan interest subsidies.
