BYD (OTCMKTS: BYDDY) is running a limited-time promotion for more models, after announcing discounts on November 1 for several models for this month.

Customers who buy a Tang DM-i or Han EV in November can get a discount of RMB 8,000 ($1,100), BYD announced yesterday.

After customers pay a deposit of RMB 2,000 between November 1 and November 30, that deposit can be used as RMB 10,000 when paying the final payment.

Meanwhile, BYD is also offering benefits including RMB 4,000 trade-in subsidy and free charging pile for customers who buy Tang DM-i or Han EV.

This is the latest in BYD's promotional moves this month.

On November 1, BYD announced that customers who purchase models in the Ocean series, including the Frigate 07, Dolphin, Seal, Song Plus, and Chaser 05, can receive discounts of up to RMB 18,000 this month.

Specifically, the discount is RMB 18,000 for the Frigate 07, RMB 7,000 for the Dolphin and Seal, and RMB 5,000 for the Song Plus and Chaser 05.

On the evening of November 1, BYD announced that the Qin Plus EV is offering a RMB 10,000 discount this month, bringing the starting price down to RMB 116,800 yuan.

On November 4, BYD began offering a limited-time discount of RMB 5,000 on the Song Pro DM-i.

BYD sold a record 301,833 NEVs in October, the first time it has exceeded the 300,000-unit mark and the sixth consecutive month of record sales.

In the January-October period, BYD sold 2,381,471 NEVs, a year-on-year increase of 70.36 percent.

The company aims to sell at least 3 million NEVs by 2023, which means it will have to sell at least about 310,000 vehicles in each of the next two months to reach its goal.
