Nio adds 15 showrooms and 124 swap stations in Oct

As of October 31, Nio had 139 Nio Houses, 314 Nio Spaces and 2,079 battery swap stations worldwide.

Nio (NYSE: NIO) continues to add to its infrastructure, including showrooms, service centers, and battery swap stations.

The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker added 15 showrooms and 124 battery swap stations globally in October, according to information released today by the Nio App.

Nio's showrooms include the flagship Nio Houses and the smaller Nio Spaces. Nio Houses, in addition to showcasing vehicles and selling them, are spaces where Nio gives owners a premium lifestyle.

The company added two new Nio Houses in October, all of which are located in China. As of October 31, the total number of Nio Houses worldwide was 139, including 133 in China and six in Europe.

Nio added 13 Nio Spaces in October, all of which are in China. As of October 31, Nio had 314 Nio Spaces worldwide, including 306 in China and eight overseas.

The company added five new service centers in October, including three in China and two overseas. This brings the total number of the facility to 308, including 258 in China and 50 overseas.

Nio added five new delivery centers in October, bringing the total number of such facilities to 61.

In October, Nio added 124 battery swap stations, including 123 in China and one overseas.

Nio typically adds fewer battery swap stations at the beginning of each month and more at the end, data monitored by CnEVPost showed.

Of the 124 battery swap stations added in October, 74 were added in the second half of the month.

As of October 31, Nio had 2,079 battery swap stations globally, with 2,052 in China and 27 overseas.

The company aims to have 2,300 battery swap stations in China by the end of the year, with 1,000 of those added this year.

Nio also added 131 charging stations in October, bringing the number to 3,358, of which 3,348 are in China and 10 are overseas.

As of October 31, Nio had 19,579 charging piles worldwide, including 19,546 in China and 33 overseas.

Nio's charger map added access to 48,912 third-party charging piles in October, bringing the total to more than 1.45 million, including more than 500,000 overseas.
