From January to September, China's NEV sales amounted to 6,278,000 units, accounting for 29.8 percent of all vehicle sales.

September's PHEV sales totaled 277,000 units, the fifth consecutive monthly record. This was up 63.91 percent year-on-year and up 11.24 percent from August.

Fuel cell vehicle sales were down 93 percent to 10 units in September.

China's all vehicle sales in September were 2,858,000 units, up 9.50 percent year-on-year and up 10.69 percent from August.

This means that the penetration rate of NEVs was 31.6 percent in September, down from 32.8 percent in August.

China's production of NEVs in September was 879,000 units, an increase of 16.1 percent year-on-year.

China's production of all vehicles in September was 2,496,000 units, up 3.5 percent year-on-year and up 9.7 percent from August.

From January to September, China's NEV sales increased 37.5 percent year-on-year to 6,278,000 units, accounting for 29.8 percent of the 21,069,000 units of all vehicles sold.

BEV sales were up 24.9 percent year-on-year to 4,468,000 units in the January-September period, while PHEVs were up 83.0 percent year-on-year to 1,807,000 units.

In September, vehicle exports from China were 444,000 units, up 47.1 percent year-on-year and up 9 percent from August.

Among them, exports of NEVs amounted to 96,000 units, up 92.8 percent year-on-year and up 6.5 percent from August.

China exported 3.388 million vehicles from January to September, up 60 percent year-on-year. 825,000 of them were NEVs, up 1.1 times year-on-year.

Excluding exports, China sold a record 808,000 NEVs in September, up 22.80 percent year-on-year and up 6.88 percent from August.

In the January-September period, China's NEV sales excluding exports were 5,453,000 units, up 30.5 percent year-on-year.
