Shanghai (ZXZC)- Liu Hongbo, director of FAW Besturn's marketing department revealed that FAW Besturn will release two compact SUVs in 2018. One will be presented in April and the other one will be released in July. With the integration of FAW Besturn, FAW Jilin Automobile and Tianjin FAW, FAW Besturn will have a dealership network of more than 700 dealers. In the future, the new vehicle products under FAW's self-owned brands will be sold across the network.

The new models will be two intelligent connected vehicles. Between them, one is the Besturn Senya R9, Liu Hongbo added. The two compact SUVs will be equipped with D-Life 2.0 connected intelligent-control system.

The Besturn Senya R9 features a big-mouth and three-banner chrome intake grille and a well-rounded rear end. Its bumper is simply designed. And it boasts LED daytime running lamps above the two round fog lights. Featuring reflective stripes on the bottom fender and one rectangular exhaust pipe on both sides, the model looks sportier.

The model boasts a multi-layered interior with a three-spoke steering wheel and an instrument panel featuring a color display. In its center console, the R9 offers a floated screen. Featuring chrome trims around the air conditioner vents on both sides, the model looks more exquisite. In addition, the new model also adopts a variety of high-tech amenities, such as automatic parking and electronic brake.

Powered by a 1.5T turbocharged engine, mated with a manual or an automatic transmission, the Besturn Senya R9 will deliver a maximum power output of 110kW.
