Nio surpasses 1,800 swap stations in China
Nio has added 500 new battery swap stations in China so far this year, meeting half of its target for this year.

Nio (NYSE: NIO) has surpassed 1,800 battery swap stations in China as it continues to build out the iconic facility.
The electric vehicle (EV) maker today put 7 new battery swap stations into operation in China, bringing the total to 1,805, according to information it shared on its Weibo page today.
That's 18 days after Nio's 1,700th battery swap station went live in China, where the company has added 31 battery swap stations this month, data monitored by CnEVPost show.
Nio also added six new supercharger stations in China today, bringing the total to 1,717, with 8,275 superchargers.
The company did not add any new destination charging stations today; their current total stands at 1,377, offering 9,913 charging piles.
Nio also has access to 879,690 third-party charging piles on its charging map in China.
In addition to the 31 battery swap stations, Nio added 24 superchargers this month.
Nio aims to see its number of battery swap stations in China reach 2,300 by the end of this year, with 1,000 of those added this year.
The company exited 2022 with 1,305 battery swap stations, and it has added 500 new battery swap stations in China so far this year, data monitored by CnEVPost show.
In Europe, Nio now has 26 battery swap stations, as well as 10 superchargers, and access to more than 500,000 third-party charging piles.
Nio's sub-brand Alps may partner with dealers to sell cars, report says
