Shanghai (ZXZC)- Lv Zhengyu, vice president of Faraday Future, revealed that LeSEE, an electric vehicle brand backed by Jia Yueting, will change its Chinese name, which will not use the common words with LeEco and Le.com. Its English name will remain the same. The change is to distance the vehicle business from LeEco and Le.com.

According to the executive, the vehicle business, invested by Jia Yueting himself, is a totally separate company from LeEco and Le.com. After the Chinese name change, LeSEE will further detach its business from LeEco and Le.com.

Since 2014, Jia Yueting has been making deployment both in American and Chinese auto market. Jia Yueting operates the vehicle business via Faraday Future in America and LeSEE in China. Currently, Faraday Future works hard to deliver vehicles as soon as possible, according to some workers of the company. It is said that they will deliver vehicles from the end of this year.
