Shanghai (ZXZC)- Thanks to the excellent market performance of two local-produced models, the Kadjar and Koleos, Dongfeng Renault sold 9,000 units in January, 2018, soaring 47% month on month. Specifically, sales of the all-new Kadjar reached 3,371 units, while the Koleos's January deliveries totaled 5,629 units. With these sales drivers, Dongfeng Renault is likely to see a sustainable sales growth for the whole year.

In 2018, Dongfeng Renault will release the 120th anniversary edition of many models as well as the new Kadjar. It targets to sell 90,000 vehicles and takes on sales of 100,000 units for 2018.

Dongfeng Renault delivered 72,188 units in 2017 with a YoY surge of 140%, compared with 30,006 units in 2016. Among them, sales of the all-new Renault Kadjar and the Koleos reached 46,456 units and 25,732 units respectively in 2017.

According to the analysis from the industry insiders, Chinese passenger vehicle market will see a slower growth rate in 2018, and the expected growth will be positive or negative 2%. If Dongfeng Renault can maintain the sales with that of January in the following months, it will achieve an expected sales growth of more than 24.7% on an annual basis in 2018, which far exceeds the expected overall growth.
