Shanghai (ZXZC)- Jaguar Land Rover will release seven new SUV models in China within 2018. Among them, Land Rover will release five new models. Apart from the upgraded models, Land Rover will introduce the three-door version of its Range Rover SV Coupe into the Chinese market within this year. Jaguar will focus on the SUV area and will launch an all-new compact SUV, the E-PACE and its first pure electric SUV, the I-PACE in 2018. 

Jaguar tapped into the SUV market after it unveiled the F-PACE, Jaguar's first SUV. In addition, Jaguar's first locally produced SUV, the E-PACE will hit the market in the second quarter. On Mar. 1, the mass-produced version of its first electric SUV, the I-PACE will be launched, and the model will debut at the Geneva International Motor Show 2018. What's more, it will make its Asian debut at the Beijing Motor Show 2018. 

In 2018, Land Rover modified and upgraded the Range Rover Sport and the Range Rover flagship version. Besides, it also released the plug-in hybrid version of Range Rover, the P400e. What's more, Land Rover will also reveal the two-door Range Rover SV Coupe, which will built by Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations (SVO). The two-door luxury model will make its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show 2018 on Mar. 6. Limited to a run of 999 units, the model will have a highest price of more than RMB 3 million.

Jaguar's first pure electric SUV-I-PACE

The Jaguar I-PACE basically retains the design style of its concept model, featuring a large hexagonal intake grille, narrow and long headlights on both sides and J-shaped LED daytime running lamps. As a mid-size SUV, the model measures 4,680mm in length, 1,890mm in width and 1,560mm in height and sets on a wheelbase of 2,990mm. It features simple and neat-designed side lines and boasts a fastback design with roof lines stretching to its rear end. 

Powered by two electric motors, the model boasts a range of 500km on a single charge. Under the mode of quick charge, it can be 80% charged in 90 minutes and can be fully charged in two hours more. Moreover, with two motors, the model can deliver a maximum power output of 294kW and a peak torque of 700Nm.
