Nio has updated configurators for all models, here are latest wait times
The ES6 now has a wait time of 3-4 weeks, the ET5 and ET5 Touring are both about 3 weeks, and the ES8 is 8-9 weeks.
The vehicle configurator pages in Nio's (NYSE: NIO) mobile app have received a complete update after almost all models have switched to the latest NT 2.0 platform.
CnEVPost has been monitoring Nio models on a daily basis over the past year for information including wait times, but the recent update to the Nio App has brought some disruption.
Nio has kept the older, computer-accessible pages for these models while updating the vehicle configurators. Until we discovered these, our daily monitoring over the past month continued to be to the older pages, which hadn't been updated since July 5.
The company's models may have seen changes in wait times over the past month, but the change in the Nio App caused us to lose track since July 5.
We are switching to Nio App's latest pages in our daily monitoring from today, so the model wait information in this post will be used as a benchmark for the next comparisons.
The configurator for the ES8 shows that the flagship Nio SUV currently has a wait of 8-9 weeks, or roughly 2 months, in China.
The ES7 SUV is shown today with a wait time of 4-5 weeks, or roughly 1 month.
The ES6 SUV is currently showing a wait time of 3-4 weeks.
The EC7 coupe SUV currently has a wait of about 4 weeks.
Nio's flagship sedan, the ET7, currently has a wait time of 4-5 weeks.
The ET5 sedan has a wait time of about 3 weeks.
The ET5 Touring has a wait time of about 3 weeks.
Nio delivered a record 20,462 vehicles in July, the first time it has exceeded the 20,000 mark, with more than 10,000 of the ES6 delivered last month, according to figures it announced on August 1.
