Nio exceeds 1,600 swap stations in China

Nio today added 12 battery swap stations and 10 supercharging stations in China, bringing the total to 1,609 and 1,551, respectively.

So far this month, Nio has added 66 new battery swap stations in China, meaning it could bring dozens of new stations online tomorrow if it were to fulfill its plans for the month.

Nio also put 10 new supercharging stations into operation in China today, bringing the total to 1,551, offering 7,527 charging piles, according to data monitored by CnEVPost.

The company did not add any new destination charging stations today; their current total stands at 1,318, offering 9,425 charging piles. Nio also has access to more than 760,000 third-party charging piles on its charging map in China.

In Europe, Nio put one new battery swap station into operation in Germany on July 27 and one on July 28.

To date, Nio has 21 battery swap stations, 8 charging stations and access to more than 500,000 third-party charging piles in Europe.

Meantime, Nio's local counterpart Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) announced today that it has added 7 supercharging stations in China in the past month, bringing its total to 37.
