China exports over 2 million cars in H1, Tesla contributes 8.5%

SAIC Motor exported 483,000 units in January-June, contributing 22.6 percent of total exports.

China's new energy vehicle (NEV) giant BYD exported 81,000 units in the January-June period, up 1,060 percent year-on-year, and ranked ninth with a 3.7 percent share.

Great Wall Motor's exports in the January-June period were 124,000 units, up 97.3 percent year-on-year, and ranked fifth with a 5.8 percent share.

In June, exports of NEVs from China were 78,000 units, up 170 percent year-on-year but down 28.4 percent from May.
