The Cyberquad for kids is powered by lithium-ion batteries with a range of up to 13 kilometers and a top speed of 8 km/h.

In 2019, Tesla announced the Cyberquad, an ATV, at the launch of the electric pickup truck Cybertruck.

However, Tesla never started delivering the model, and the kids' version of the Cyberquad was officially released in late 2021, it was then priced at $1,900 in the US.

In October 2022, the Cyberquad for kids had been recalled due to safety concerns.

Cyberquad manufacturer Radio Flyer said at the time that it had received a report of a rollover accident caused by a 36-year-old adult female driving with her 8-year-old child, resulting in injuries to the female's left shoulder.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission determined at the time that the children's version of the Cyberquad did not meet federal standards for youth ATVs.

Last April, Tesla held a battery design challenge for the Cyberquad in China and will offer up to RMB 200,000 yuan in prizes.

Contestants will use 2170 cells as materials to design a battery system that has a chance of being carried in the Cyberquad, Tesla said at the time.
