Volkswagen to launch Future Center Asia in Beijing on Jan. 25
Shanghai (ZXZC)- According to Volkswagen Group's 2025 strategy, the German carmaker will build three Future Centers worldwide. Beijing, Capital of China will be the site of the Future Center Asia. It is revealed that the center will be put into operation on Jan. 25.
The Future Center Asia will open up five interaction zones to the public. After being put into operation officially, the new Future Center will boast self-owned design and R&D rights, which will better meet Asian customers' demands and will accelerate the R&D pace for new models. With the integration of digitalization and design, the center will accelerate the product R&D in China, speed up the localization of vehicle models and improve the service experience for customers.
At Future Center Asia, exterior designers, interior designers as well as engineers will work together to fulfill the integration of digitalization and design. In addition, the center will showcase the job contents of researchers and designers, investigation methods of customer experience and how to use AI to adjust design plans and driverless vehicles through five interaction experiencing zones.
Volkswagen Group owns a wide variety of vehicle brands, such as Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and Lamborghini, etc. All of these brands have been introduced into the Chinese market. And all the brands under Volkswagen Group can utilize the Future Center Asia. Based on the status quo of the Chinese market, the center will help Volkswagen Group to launch more new models to meet Chinese customers' demands.
