Shanghai (ZXZC)- According to SAIC MOTOR, in 2017, the annual sales of SAIC MOTOR reached 6,930,123 units, increasing 6.8% year on year. The group produced 6,987,355 vehicles throughout 2017 with a growth of 8.22% from a year earlier.

From statistics, SAIC Volkswagen reached a year-on-year growth of 3.06% to 2,063,077 units in 2017. The annual sales of SAIC-GM in 2017 were 2,000,187 units, up 5.99% compared with the year before. SAIC MOTOR Passenger sold 522,036 units in 2017, shot up by 62.27% year on year. Meanwhile, SAIC-GM-Wuling's annual sales in 2017 grew by 0.93% from a year earlier to 2,150,018 units.

Besides, the new energy vehicles' sales of SAIC MOTOR soared 140% from the previous year, surpassing 60,000 units. Internet vehicles, such as ROEWE RX5, ROEWE i6, MG ZS, MG 6, etc, were quite welcomed by consumers which annual sales of 2017 reached nearly 400,000 in total.
