BYD Nov sales breakdown: Song 64,145 units, Han 31,786 units

The BYD Yuan family sold 29,402 units in November, while the Qin family sold 28,320 units.

The Song and Han were BYD's highest-selling models in November, according to the company's breakdown figures of different models released Friday.

The Song family sold 64,145 units in November, up 155.79 percent from 25,077 units in the same month last year and up 12.85 percent from 56,843 units in October.

The all-electric Han EV sold 13,383 units in November, up 33.55 percent year-on-year and essentially unchanged from 13,294 units in October.

The plug-in hybrid Han DM series sold 18,403 units in November, up 552.59 percent year-on-year and essentially unchanged from the 18,320 units sold in October.

The BYD Yuan family sold 29,402 units in November, up 350.88 percent year-on-year and 6.73 percent from October.

The BYD Qin family sold 28,320 units in November, down 5.75 percent year-on-year and 18.32 percent from October.

BYD Dolphin sold 26,063 units in November, up 195.87 percent year-on-year and 2.87 percent from October.

BYD's flagship SUV Tang family sold 20,020 units in November, up 146.40 percent year-on-year and up 16.66 percent from October.

BYD Seal sold 15,356 units in November, up 36.29 percent from 11,267 units in October. This is the third time the company has announced sales figures for the sedan, which was officially launched on July 29.

The BYD Destroyer 05 sold 6,032 units in November, down 33.79 percent from 9,111 units in October.

BYD released figures Friday showing it sold 230,427 new energy vehicles (NEVs) in November, a new all-time high and the third consecutive month of more than 200,000 units.

BYD stopped producing and selling vehicles powered entirely by internal combustion engines in March, and all of its vehicles are now NEVs.

The company sold 113,915 all-electric passenger vehicles and 116,027 plug-in hybrid passenger vehicles in November.
