Shanghai (ZXZC)- A new round of personnel change begins in FAW Group. FAW Car released an announcement stating that four board members resigned but its personnel structure on official website has not been adjusted yet.

Currently, FAW Car has formed its personnel structure, with Liu Changqing being General Manager, while Yang Dayong and Sui Zhongjian serve as Vice General Managers. Liu Changqing, Li Chongtian, Xu Shili and Li Jian are non-independent board directors of the company. Sun Zhongjun and Liu Hui are appointed as staff representative supervisors.

Financial performance is the key problem when FAW Car completes personnel adjustments. FAW Car still faces weak self-independent businesses, and its profits are mainly brought by strong performance from FAW Mazda.

Latest data from CPCA shows that FAW Car sold 26,887 units in November with a year-on-year growth of 4.5%, among which self-independent brands sold 12,734 units with a growth of 6.2%, mainly supported by Besturn X40 SUV model. Other models including Besturn B30, X80 and B70 all declined more than 60% in sales.

The previous reform map by FAW Group showed that Besturn business unit’s key brand Besturn will lead FAW self-independent businesses’ development in the future. It’s believed that FAW Car will usher in a new future when its personnel structure completes.
