Shanghai (ZXZC)-Shen Mingjun, former vice president of Changan PSA Automobiles Co., Ltd. (CAPSA), was appointed as executive vice president of CAPSA in June this year. Six months later, Shen Mingjun underwent a position change again. According to a official source, Shen Mingjun will retain the position of executive vice president and also will take a new position as general manager of CAPSA Sales Company.

Shen Mingjun has an experience in auto industry for more than 25 years. Prior to the abovementioned positions, he had served as vice president of Changan Research Institute of Automotive Engineering, general manager of Hefei Changan Automobile Co., Ltd., General Manager of the Overseas Division and Cooperation Department Minister in Changan Automobile. He has also taken up several roles in engineering design, product planning, market research, overseas sales and JV management in Changan Automobile.

After taking the position of vice president of marketing in March, Shen Mingjun put forward a range of reforming measures through highly efficient internal communication and market investigation and survey. He stressed that DS should be reformed to cope with the forthcoming challenge since DS model suffered sales slump in China. In June, Shen Mingjun took the position as the executive vice president of CAPSA.
