Neta officially launches flagship sedan Neta S with starting price around $29,610
The Neta S is Neta's first model to target the premium market and will compete with models including Xpeng Motors' P7 and BYD's Han.

The Neta S, the flagship sedan from Chinese company Hozon Auto's electric vehicle brand Neta, was officially launched after pre-sales began on June 6.
Neta is offering the Neta S in both electric-only and extended-range power forms, with a price range of RMB 199,800 ($29,610) - 338,800 until December 31 this year, the company announced Sunday evening.
Neta previously targeted the low-end market, with the other two models on sale - Neta V and Neta U - starting at RMB 74,900 and RMB 117,800, respectively.
The Neta S is Neta's first model to target the high-end market and will compete with models including Xpeng Motors' P7 and BYD's Han. Deliveries of the car will begin in the fourth quarter.
The model measures 4,980 mm in length, 1,980 mm in height and 1,450 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,980 mm, slightly larger than Xpeng Motors' flagship sedan, the P7, which measures 4,880 mm in length, 1,896 mm in height and 1,450 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,998 mm.
The Neta S has a maximum power of 170 kW for the single-motor version and 170 kW for both motors in the dual-motor version.
The Neta S with extended-range technology has a combined range of 1,160 km and is available in three options priced at RMB 239,800, 215,800 and 199,800 respectively.
The model has an NEDC range of 310 kilometers on battery power and accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.9 seconds.
The all-electric version of the Neta S has a CLTC combined range of 715 km for the rear-wheel-drive long-range model and is available in three options priced at RMB 245,800, RMB 268,900 and RMB 319,800, with the most expensive version equipped with two LiDARs.
The all-electric, four-wheel-drive version of the Neta S has a CLTC range of 650 km and is available in two versions priced at RMB 279,800 and 338,800 yuan, with the most expensive version featuring scissor doors similar to the Xpeng P7 Wing Edition.
Neta also plans to launch the all-electric Neta S with a CLTC range of 520 km in 2023.
The Neta S's cockpit is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and has virtually no physical buttons inside.
It has four screens, including a 17.6-inch center console, 13.3-inch instrument screen, 12.3-inch passenger entertainment screen and AR-HUD head-up display.
Neta S offers two intelligent driving systems, Neta Pilot 4.0 and Neta Pilot 3.0, built on Huawei's MDC 610 computing platform.
The model with Neta Pilot 3.0 is equipped with 5 millimeter-wave radars and 11 cameras, while the model with Neta Pilot 4.0 has 2 additional solid-state LiDARs, 12 ultrasonic sensors, high precision positioning units and high precision mapping and other sensory units.
Neta plans to push out the highway pilot assisted driving feature for the model in the first half of 2023 and the Neta Pilot 4.0 exclusive City Pilot assisted driving feature in the first half of 2024.
