Shanghai (ZXZC)- Recently, according to the news of relevant department, subsidies for scrapping old vehicles may be canceled at the end of this year.

First, subsidies for scrapping small buses are reported to end after December 31, 2017. There is no subsidy for midsize and large buses. The first stage of discarded subsidies of trucks and non-highly polluting vehicles will end June 30, 2018.

Second, registered scrapped vehicles before and after December 1, 2017 are not guaranteed to receive subsidies of 2017 if there is any problems in the vehicles.

Third, the discarded vehicles and related certificates should be legitimate, real and effective and no economic disputes.

Fourth, the registration information of discarded vehicles is consistent with the registered information of relevant departments. There should be no patching, paste, welding, and correction etc. of the vehicle identification number (VIN);

Fifth, if there is any problem of the vehicles, such as mortgage, identity card number or the name does not match, the organization code certificate name or code card number mismatching, please solve these problems before scrapping vehicles.

According to the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Commerce, the subsidy standard and range are: semi-trailer tractors whose usage time is more than 10 years (including 10 years) and less than 15 years, heavy trucks whose total weight is more than 12,000 kilograms (including 12,000 kg) (including ordinary trucks, vans, trucks, warehouse gate closed trucks, tank trucks, flatbed trucks, container trucks, dump trucks and other special structure models, excluding the full trailers and semi trailers), the subsidy standard is RMB 18,000 per vehicle. 

It is reported that some vehicle dismantling plants have began to issue new policy announcement, and at the end of this year there may be registration peak.
