Nio's battery swap network now covers all cities in Zhejiang
As of March 30, Nio's battery swap stations numbered 881, with 235 of them located along highways.
Nio's network of battery swap stations now covers all cities in Zhejiang province in eastern China, the company announced today.
Nio (NYSE: NIO, HKG: 9866) added three battery swap stations today, one of which is located in Lishui, Zhejiang. As of March 30, Nio's battery swap stations numbered 881.
In Zhejiang, Nio's battery swap stations number 92, covering 11 cities, and 16 of the stations are located along highways.
As the company moves forward with its strategic partnership with Zhejiang Commercial Group and Intime Department Store, Nio will make its charging and battery swap network in Zhejiang denser, it said.
Nio also said that one of the new battery swap stations added today is located in a highway service area in Chongqing, allowing the company's battery swap network along the highway to cover the Chengdu-Chongqing metropolitan area.
Nio has a total of 20 battery swap stations in the metropolitan area, covering 10 major highways, according to the company.
To date, Nio has 235 battery swap stations located along highways in China.
Nio also added 2 supercharging stations today, bringing the total to 722, offering 4,018 charging piles, according to data monitored by CnEVPost.
It added 1 destination charging station, bringing the total to 679 and providing 3,803 charging piles.
