Shanghai (ZXZC)- Many new models including concept model XEV and P8 under GWM high-end brand WEY made debut on Frankfurt Auto show on September 12th. It’s learned that WEY pure electric coupe SUV XEV and middle-size PHEV SUV P8 with a cruise mileage of 660KM will make domestic debut on Guangzhou Auto Show on November 17th. 

WEY P8 has a body size of 4,760mm*1,931mm*1,655mm with the wheelbase of 2,950mm. The front face uses big-mouth net-shape air-inlet grilles with W-shape family style in headlight group. The front bumper equips with vertical fog lights. The model equips with four air vents in both sides in the tail, as well as shark fin antenna in the top. It equips with 9-inch LED screen in controlling panel, panoramic sunroof, ACC adaptive cruise, AEB and LDW. The new model uses PHEV system consisting of 2.0 turbo-charged engines and two electric motors with the maximum power of 250KW and peak torque of 524NM. It also equips with 6-speed dual-clutch gearboxes in transmission systems. The accelerating time for every hundred kilometers only turns out to be 6.5 seconds with a cruise mileage of 660KM. Oil consumption per hundred kilometers only reaches 2.3L.

WEY XEV concept model uses the new designing idea with rich lines in front face. The model has advanced technologies in the interior decoration with 2+2 seat layout. It also uses the new LOGO, planning to make a specialized BEV brand. The new model equips with the advanced matrix charging technology with electric energy conversion rate reaching 99% and cruise mileage of 530KM.
