SAIC Maxus October sales grow 92%, exceeding 2016 annual sales volume

Shanghai (ZXZC)- Latest sales data shows that SAIC Maxus had a monthly sales volume of 8,068 units in October with a 92% year-on-year growth and its monthly sales exceeded 8,000 units for the first time. The total sales volume from January to October reached 53,556 units with a year-on-year growth of 44%, more than the total annual sales of last year.

Currently, SAIC Maxus’ products include light vehicles, pickups, MPV, SUV, caravans and NEV. SAIC Maxus V80 has a monthly sales volume of 3,229 units in October, growing 26% compared with the same period of last year. The model’s total sales volume this year reaches 22,193 units. MPV model G10 sells 2,596 units in October with a year-on-year growth of 58%, and the cumulative sales this year reaches 21,454 units with a year-on-year growth of 47%. The leading G10 Plus model with Zebra intelligent-connected system will inevitably promote self-independent MPV brands to march forward the next golden era.

Pickup T60 model sells 1,472 units in October with excellent overseas performance. The first SUV made in C2B mode has delivered 1,575 units since its launch in August with 3,300 orders to be waited. Sales for caravan model RV80 this year grow nine times compared with the number in 2016, and the first SAIC Maxus caravan camper trailer RT11 made debut in International Hotel Exhibition.

SAIC Maxus has an overseas sales volume of 6,868 units this year, accounting for 13% of the total volume. Benefitted from the excellent performance of pickup T60, sales of SAIC Maxus in Chile market grow 11 times year on year.
