Shanghai (ZXZC)- Great Wall Motors announced that the Haval H7L Red Label officially hit the market today and its price starts at RMB 170,000.

In 2015, the automaker said that Haval models would have two variants, namely Red Label variant and Blue Label variant. According to the official statement, the Blue Label is in sporty, innovative and technique style and aims at young people. The Red Label is in luxurious, convenient and multi-use style and more suitable for household use.

The new model differs little from the current Red Label in appearance. The most noteworthy difference is that the triangular window at the rear part has been transformed into rectangular window.

The new Red Label’s length, width and height are respectively 4910 mm, 1925 mm and 1785mm while its wheelbase is 2850 mm. The Red Label is 10 mm longer than the Blue Label and 195 mm longer than the current Red Label. Besides, both the Red Label and the Blue Label have 7 seats with 2-3-2 seating arrangement.

The new model is also equipped with many leading technologies such as lane change assistance (LCA), lane departure warning system, lane keeping system, Tire Pressure Monitoring System and active parking.

As usual, the new Red Label will be powered by 2.0-liter engine, which can produce 231 horsepower and 355 Nm of torque. The new model is mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
