As of December 15, Nio's battery swap stations in China reached 719, of which 164 are located along highways.

Nio today announced that its battery swap station network covers the G50 Shanghai-Chongqing Highway, adding to the network that covers the G1 Beijing-Harbin Highway, G2 Beijing-Shanghai Highway, and G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Highway.

The G50 highway is 1,786 km long, passing through five provinces and cities, namely Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei and Chongqing, and is one of the most important routes for Shanghai residents to reach neighboring cities.

Nio has set up 17 battery swap stations along the way, one every 128 kilometers on average. Nine of them are located within the service area and eight are located near the highway entrance.
